Athletics: Review for 2004/05

 The girls have enjoyed an excellent season of Athletics, culminating in a happy and successful Sports Day where many personal bests were recorded and some school records were also broken.

In High Jump, Nicola Wilkinson achieved a new Year Five record of I m. 12cm.

In Rounders Ball, Natasha Farrant threw a new Year Four record of 36.3m, and there was great excitement as Olivia Harbig threw 33.95m, a new Year Five record, only to be beaten moments later by Daina Clifford who threw the ball a marvellous 37.25m.

In Year Three, Hannah Flemington equalled Hannah Cambridge's 100m record of I 7.4sec, held since 1998.

The girls also did well at the regional IAPS Athletics in Ashford with excellent performances from Olivia Rendall, Ella Genders, Katie Hoskin, Stephanie Bryant, Nicola Wilkinson, Lily Loveland and Hattie Grant.
