Deputy Head Teacher Hilary Humphry-Baker B. Sc. (Hons) (Exeter), PGCE (Sussex)
Mrs. Humphry-Baker graduated from Exeter University with a 2.1 in Biology and Geography. She completed her PGCE at Brighton once her two children had begun full time school. She joined Vinehall School in 1991 where she became Co-ordinator of Junior Science and went on to initiate many new projects.
She joined Derwent Lodge in 2004 as Deputy Head. She co-ordinated Geography during her first two years and in 2006 took over the co-ordination of the Science Department. She is also a Governor of Feltonfleet Prep in Cobham. One of her children is now teaching and the other is at Oxford University.
