Deputy Headmaster Richard Green B. Ed.
RG is married with two children, the youngest of whom attended Derwent Lodge prior to moving to her senior school.
He qualified from the University of Southampton and secured his first teaching post in an East London comprehensive school, after which he taught in both Greece and Australia for four years, before returning to the UK and a prep school in Dorset.
With a young family in tow he moved to Ryde School, on the Isle of Wight, where he held a number of posts in the fourteen years he spent there. These included Director of Sport, Head of Geography, Boarding House Master and a spell out of the classroom as Development Director.
He has been in his current post of Deputy Head Master of Yardley Court since Easter 2000.
