Derwent Lodge Gymnastics

We do not enter competitions, but the girls love working on the British Gymnastic Award Scheme in lessons. In Year 3, Isabel Carter has already achieved Level One which is the highest award. 34 girls in Year 3 have Level 6. In Year 4, Eliza Bond and Mhairi Fenton have both achieved Level One in school. Three other girls have Level 3; 12 have Level 4 and 34 have Level 5. In Year 5, Alexandra Thompson, Hannah Kinsey and Charis Heim have all achieved Level One. 17 girls have Level 3, and 28 girls Level 4. In Year 6, Abigail Leach, Laura Beaman and Lily Wadsworth have achieved Level One in school. Lily has also achieved the Bronze Award for pairwork whilst Laura and Abi have earned Bronze Awards for Floorwork. 20 girls in Year 6 have the Level 3 award.
