Netball

The netball season has now finished, and the girls have achieved impressive results overall. The introduction of mixed ability teams, particularly in Years 5 and 6 has meant that all girls have had more opportunities to play in matches. It has been a busy end to the season with six tournaments in the last three weeks! The U11A team won the Sevenoaks School tournament and just missed out on qualification to the IAPS Nationals by one place in their section at Roedean. The U11C team were Runners-Up in the Sutton Valence C team tournament and the U10's achieved equal 3rd place in the Walthamstow Hall tournament, and were Runners-Up in both the Haileybury and Kent College tournaments. Last term, the U9A and U9B teams both won their respective tournaments at St Michaels and the U10A team were 3rd in the Ryde School tournament on the Isle of Wight.

Overall results for all teams from Years 3 to 6 in Derwent Lodge, including tournament matches are:-

Played 171   Won 112   Drawn 16   Lost 43   Goals for 898   Goals against  554.
