At Derwent Lodge we run an extensive year-round programme of sports for our girls, with a focus on specific sports in each term. Please refer to the PE and Games page for more detail regarding the curriculum, and also the reviews and photo galleries for more information regarding our activities.
Netball
The netball season has now finished and our teams have won three tournaments and been runners-up on three occasions. A staggering 898 goals have been scored by our shooters in 171 matches.

Rounders
The U11 Rounders team displayed a high level of ability with the bat and in their fielding.

Swimming
Eight girls were entered for the IAPS National Time Trials and Annie Cassidy emerged as our most promising swimmer. Her time was 19th best in the country for U10 Butterfly, out of over 100 triallists.

Gymnastics
Many awards have been earned by our gymnasts in lessons this year. Twelve girls have achieved the British Gymnastics level one award, and two girls achieved the Bronze award for floorwork.

Our hockey season is complete, and our results have been fairly good on the whole. The teams have had 30 matches and have won 12 and drawn 6 of these.

Another outstanding season. The U9's won every girls event they entered, and the U11's also performed well on a number of occasions.
