NetballLent term is the major term for netball, although some matches are played in the Michaelmas term.
TennisThe girls have tennis lessons from January onwards, In 2010 DL produced very good results at County level in Orange, Green and Full Ball tournaments.
Rounders
The U11A team won the Rosehill rounders festival in 2010. Every girl in DL from Yr 3 upwards has played rounders for the school in the summer term. The teams won 28 out of 48 matches and scored a phenomenal 525 rounders between them.

SwimmingThe swimming pool opened in January 2009. Yrs 3 and 4 swim every week, and the senior girls swim for half a term every term. A variety of weekly clubs are on offer.
GymnasticsGymnastics takes place in lessons in the first half of the Michaelmas term. Each yeargroup follows a different theme. Skills teaching and sequence work on mats, benches and apparatus form the basis of most lessons.
AthleticsThirteen school records were broken in 2010, which is in itself a record! Samantha Haftke represented Kent and DL at the National championships in Shot. All girls took part in at least three events for Sports Day.
HockeyAll hockey matches take place in the Michaelmas term. There are regular fixtures for the U11A and B teams; U10A and B teams, and a training match for the U9A squad.
Cross CountryAll girls run a short Cross-country course on a weekly basis in the winter terms. The DL teams have had their most successful season ever, winning several major events.
