Geography at Yardley Court
The main aim of Geography at Yardley is to stimulate the boys' interest in their surroundings at a local, national and global level. It encourages our pupils to have an open-minded interest in important world issues of a geographical nature.
The subject develops the boys’ understanding and awareness of peoples, places and the environment.
Fieldwork, practical activities and ICT are important aspects of what we do, as are trips to local and national museums and locations together with use of our own extensive campus.
Through knowledge and understanding it is hoped that boys will be encouraged to take a life long interest in the subject and their world.
