Head Teacher Ellen Hill B. Ed. (Hons) (Sussex), Cert. Ed. (Maths) (Sheffield)
Ellen has been Head Teacher at Derwent Lodge since January 2004.
She gained Teacher Status in 1974 from Sheffield, and a post qualification B. Ed. (Hons) in Curriculum Development from Sussex University.
Ellen has taught across state maintained and independent sectors in both secondary and preparatory schools as well as in a College of Further Education teaching towards HND.
She qualified as an Ofsted Inspector in 2002 in Secondary Mathematics.
Previously Ellen was Deputy Head, Director of Studies at Vinehall School, East Sussex.
She is married with two children, both educated at Eastbourne College.
