DL Runners - up in Kent round of British Schools Green Tennis Tournament.
 
Two U11 Tennis teams competed in the Kent round of the British Schools Green Tennis Tournament. The A team easily won their section beating Kent College A by 5 games to 1; Russell House B 5 -1 and Combe Bank B 6 - 0. In the semi-final they played Russell House A team and in a good match emerged victorious by 3.5 games to 2.5. The final was of a very high standard indeed and Bromley High won in a match that could hardly have been closer! The final score was 3 all in games, and 33 points to 31 to Bromley.
The B team more than held their own in their section. Our girls beat Baston C team 5 - 1, but lost to Combe Bank A by 4.5 to 1.5, and also to Russell House A by 4 games to 2. Well done to all our players.
