Yardley Court Cross Country

Yardley Court is currently enjoying it's most successful season of recent times. The season started well with a victory in the Rawlinson run for years 2, 3 and 4, Will Tyler racing home in 1st place. The Yardley Court boys swept all before them in the Hazelwood relays winning all age groups and the overall title. Success continued in the IAPS meeting held here at Somerhill. The U13 age group winning led by Harry Rees 1st and David Wilkinson 3rd. There were also strong performances for the U11 and U9 boys who finished in 2nd place. In the Thomas Trophy the U9 and U11 age groups were victorious and the U13's 2nd again giving Yardley Court the overall victory. This was bettered in the Dobson trophy as the Yardley Court boys stormed to victory in all three age groups as well as the overall title. These races included a remarkable 1,2,3 for Miles Christian, Harry Yorke and George Slack in the U11 age group and a 1, 2 for Harry and David in the U13 age group. Congratulations to all the boys who have represented the school this term and to all those who have been working hard in cross country club.
