Yardley Court Football

The football season has now finished and it has been another successful one for Yardley Court. The boys played in 190 fixtures winning 120 of them, with every boy being selected to play in at least 4 matches. The 1st XI enjoyed a strong season and were unlucky to be knocked out of the National Prep schools Tournament in the last 16. The 3rd XI along with the U8 B and U8 C team completed unbeaten seasons and there several teams just missing out on this accolade. There was more success in tournaments with the U9A team winning the Hawthorns tournament and sharing the Yardley Court tournament. The U10B and U11B teams won the plate at the St Michael's tournament. The U11A team shared the Hilden Grange tournament as well as coming runners up in the Sevenoaks 5 a-side tournament. The season ended with some great news as David Wilkinson, Iain Lewis, Paul Lewis and Spencer Alderton have all been selected to represent the IAPS U13 South East of England. Well done to those four and to all the boys who have represented the school this term.
