Welcome to Yardley Court
I am delighted that you are visiting our website and hope you enjoy learning more about both Yardley Court and our place within The Schools At Somerhill.Yardley Court has a long and distinguished history having been established in 1898 as the feeder school for Tonbridge. Though we still have close links with that school, we now send boys to a whole range of schools at 11 and 13+; a big part of our job is ensuring that boys are really well prepared for the challenges of senior school entry.
Happiness is top of the list, however, for all of our pupils and we are proud of our reputation for strong pastoral care. We place considerable emphasis on being part of a school community and encourage our boys to look out for the needs of others. We want them to work and play hard and to have fun doing both and we strive hard to provide a rich and diverse programme of study, games and activities that will fully engage all pupils.
