Yardley Court Rugby

The rugby season is now over as the boys completed a succesful season with a clean sweep of victories over Cumnor House school. In total 128 matches were played and Yardley Court teams won 66% of their matches. Special mentions should go to the U8 age group who won 18 and drew 2 of their 20 matches remaining unbeaten. There were tournament victories for the U9s at the Holmewood House tournament the 1st team won the Hudson 7s tournament the Solefield 10s tournament and the plate competition at the Junior Kings Canterbury 7s tournament. The U11A team was probably the most successful team of the season winning the New Beacon 7s tournament and significantly a very strong 7s tournament at Shrewsbury House School as well as coming runners up in two other 7s tournaments. They also won the regional qualifying tournament for the South East qualifying for the National Prep Schools tournament where they performed admirably.
